11U Vinton Shellsburg Viking USSSA baseball team finished 2nd in the Cornshucker Bracket-Buster NIT Tournament this past weekend.  Team members are (Front Row L to R): Scott Betterton, Weston Powers, Luke Radeke, Will Dudley, Cole Neilson, Brock Radeke.

The Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings and Vikettes who earned a spot in the 2012 State Track Meet left Vinton Wednesday for Des Moines, where both Vikings and Vikettes will compete in five events at the State Track Meet which begins Thursday.
