Tom (Van Steenhuyse) Stonehouse, 70, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at his home in Palm Springs, CA, following a short and courageous battle with leukemia.Private family services will be held to honor and celebrate Tom’s life.Thomas Raphael Van Steenhuyse was born June 11, 1950 in Vinton, the son of Ray and Helen (Walsh) Van Steenhuyse. George Elvan Little, 94, died peacefully Sunday, July 26, 2020, in Sherman, TX. George was born August 26, 1925, in Madison, WI to Ralph C. and Ruth (Moubry) Little. He was the third of eight children. In 1927, the family moved back to Palo, IA. He was a long-time resident of Atkins, Newhall, and Cedar Rapids. On December 12, 1945, George married LaVonne Lint. Alfred R. Lee, 89, of Brandon, IA formerly of Otterville, IA died on Sunday August 2, 2020 at his home in Brandon, IA.Al was born on July 7, 1931 in Elk City, Kansas the son of Rueben M. and Anna L. (James) Lee. He attended the Elk City Schools and went into the United States Army in 1948. He served with pride and was awarded the Purple Heart for being wounded during the Korean War.
