Douglas James Kimm

Douglas James Kimm, 83 of Blairstown, Iowa passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo. He had been a resident of Rose Haven Care Center for the last 8 months. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:30 a.

DAVID L. KREUTNER

David L. Kreutner passed away on Monday, Sept. 7, 2020, in Sacramento, Calif. David was born on March 1, 1941, in Dunkerton, Iowa, to Bernard F. and Marie B. (Bruch) Kreutner.He is survived by his wife, Bernice; daughters, Heather (Joe) Keller and Melissa Kreutner; his grandchildren, Jake and Dylan Keller and Jaden, Teisa and Coral Kreutner; his brothers, James (Christine) Kreutner and Wayne (Peg) Kreutner, and his sister, Jeanne (Murray) Pommier.

Evelyn Feuerbach

 Evelyn Feuerbach, age 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center. Private family services will be held at Cameron Park on Main Street in Keystone.  Interment will be held at the Keystone Cemetery.  Cards of condolence or memorials may be forwarded to Sandra Fetter 157 W. Robert W. “Bob” Cohrt

Robert W. “Bob” Cohrt, age 83, died at home Thursday, September 3, 2020.A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.Robert Wayne Cohrt was born May 27,1937 in the Belle Plaine Hospital, to Ernest and LaVerna (Brunssen) Cohrt.  He graduated from Keystone High School and attended Kirkwood Community College.  Bob served his Country in the United States Army from 1960 until 1963.

Inez Pauline Maile

Inez Pauline Maile, age 93, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton. Private family memorial services will be held at a later date, with interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. Inez was born October 23, 1926 in Greene County, Iowa the daughter of George and Elsie (McClurg) Hartwigsen. She graduated from Jefferson High School, Jefferson, Iowa.

James Nelson Barr

James Nelson Barr, 73, passed away in his Van Horne home on Friday, September 4th after a courageous battle with cancer.  Internment and a short ceremony will take place for family and friends on Thursday, September 10 at Salem Cemetery east of Van Horne, at 11 am.  Please bring lawn chairs if planning to attend. The ceremony will be officiated by Pastor Leonard Ranson of Salem United Methodist Church, Van Horne.

Robert William Adams

Robert William Adams, 94, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, in St. Luke's Hospital. Services: Private at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Sue Ney. As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced, which requires a limited number of people allowed ata time. The use of face masks or shields is required. Cedar Memorial Park FuneralHome is in charge of the arrangements.

Betty Beatrice Clark

Betty Beatrice Clark passed away peacefully on Monday, Sept. 1, 2020, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, at Phillips Funeral Home in Blairstown, Iowa. A private interment will be at a later date.Betty was born Jan.

Janice Knipp

Janice Knipp, age 81, of Belle Plaine, formerly of Keystone, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2020, at her daughter’s home in Belle Plaine.Joint graveside services for Janice, Russell and Michael Knipp will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2020 at St. John Cemetery in Newhall with graveside military rites for Russell.  An open house will be held at the Newhall American Legion Hall following the graveside service until 4:00 PM.

Kurt John Hinschberger

Kurt John Hinschberger, 59, of Belle Plaine, passed away Monday, Aug. 31, 2020, at his home.Kurt was born Feb. 11, 1961, to Paul and Lucie (Sauvageau) Hinschberger in Minot, N.D. The family moved to Omaha, Neb., where he became an avid Cornhuskers fan. While in elementary school, the family moved to Belle Plaine, where Kurt attended school. After moving to West Des Moines for a short time, the family came back to Belle Plaine, where Kurt met his high school sweetheart, Terri Jo Shedenhelm, his junior year, He graduated from high school in 1979.
