Spirits are high at the Palace this week. Just in time for Halloween, the haunting thriller “Insidious: Chapter 2” takes over the screen. This film is rated a strong PG-13 and runs 106 minutes. Running Friday, October25 through Thursday, October 31, showtimes are 7pm each night, with a 2 pm matinee on Monday.

In Depth: 'The Way, Way Back'
Starting Friday, the Palace Theatre offers up “The Way, Way Back”. This film is rated PG-13 for language and innuendo, and runs 1:43. Showtimes are 7 pm each night Friday through Thursday, and of course, the 2pm matinee on Monday.
According to the Palace website, “The Way, Way Back” is the funny and poignant coming-of-age story of 14-year-old Duncan's (Liam James) summer vacation with his mother, Pam (Toni Collette), her overbearing boyfriend, Trent (Steve Carell), and his daughter Steph (Zoe Levin).

This week the Palace Theatre offers up “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.” This film is rated PG for violence and mild language, and runs 1:46 minutes. Showtimes are 7pm each night Friday through Thursday, and of course, the 2 pm matinee on Monday.
“Sea of Monsters” is the second film adaptation of the “Percy Jackson” Action/Adventure book series.

“The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” rated PG-13, runs 130 minutes. Catch it at the Palace Friday, September 27 through Thursday, October 3 at 7 pm every night but Tuesday, and Monday, September 30 at 2 pm. The Palace will be closed on Tuesday, October 1 for a thorough fall cleaning.
