'Sometimes a Rainbow' cast moves rehearsal to Palace stage

In Depth: The Monuments Men
In 1944, a middle-aged group of men and a few women interrupted their lives as historians, art curators, professors, and architects to become the Monuments Men. This small corps of unlikely soldiers recovered countless works of art stolen by Hitler and the Nazis.
“The Monuments Men” plays the Palace Friday, April 4 through Thursday, April 10 at 7 pm, and Monday, April 7 at 2 pm.

In Depth: 'Lego Movie' inspires critics
The more I read about “The LEGO Movie,” the more I wish it was mid summer so we could pack the house and have late shows every night! This movie is getting incredible reviews! Better than “Frozen!” Definitely worth attending with your kids and keeping them out on a school night! Pajama party!
Sorry, elementary teachers – priorities!
“The LEGO Movie” plays the Palace Friday, March 28 through Thursday, April 3 at 7 pm every evening, with added shows on Saturday at 1 pm, Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm, and Monday at 2 pm.

ACT I announces cast for 'Sometimes a Rainbow' musical comedy

In Depth: 'August: Osage County' next on Palace screen
Oscar Month continues with “August: Osage County,” playing the Palace Friday, March 14 through Thursday, March 20 at 7 pm, and Monday, March 17 at 2 pm.
Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts star as a mother and daughter who when forced by circumstances struggle to be in the same house together, much less exchange a civil word. In fact, this film is fraught with mostly uncivilized words.
Palace will NOT be showing Nebraska this afternoon...
The Palace will NOT show Nebraska at 2 pm today, and very possibly not tonight. The Nebraska hard drive we received is bad, so we are in limbo waiting for a new hard drive to arrive. Unfortunately, this movie was not widely released, so there are no hard drives in the area.
Patrons should check the website (www.vintonpalce.org) or call the InfoLine at 319/472-9958 for and updated schedule.
