Spring Sports Schedule: Viking Early Bird Track Meet set for March 31
The Vinton-Shellsburg boys Early Bird Track Meet is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31. Last year's event was delayed, and then canceled, because of cold spring weather in March and April of 2014.
School officials hope for warmer weather this year as the spring sports season begins. Along with boys and girls track, boys and girls soccer, the Red Cedar Shooters trap team, and boys and girls golf teams have many events scheduled for April and May.
