Auringer continues hot streak; wins Modified feature at BCS
VINTON, Iowa (June 14) – J.D. Auringer continued his recent hot streak in a big way at Benton County Speedway.
The Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified driver earned his third win in eight days and pocketed $1,250 Sunday night by topping a 32-car field on Iowa Donor Network/Urbana 5 Memorial Night. The win also placed Auringer on the Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational ballot.

Vinton Day at Kinnick: Special discount tickets available
The University of Iowa Athletic Department is hosting Vinton Community Day on Saturday, Sept. 5, when the Iowa football team entertains Illinois State in its 2015 season opener.
Any member of the Vinton community can purchase an unlimited number of $40 group rate adult tickets and $25 youth tickets. The single game ticket price is $55 per seat.

IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks race for $750 to win and IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars and Karl Chevrolet Northern SportMods both for $700.
Father and 13-year-old son among winners at BCS on Sunday
A father and son duo made it family night Sunday at Benton County Speedway.
Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified veteran Troy Cordes earned his first win of the season on the quarter-mile, but not before his 13-year-old son, Tristan, scored his second career win in the Micro Mod division.
Jeff Davis held the early lead in the 12-lap Micro Mod main while Tristan Cordes gave chase after starting in row two.
