Auringer continues hot streak; wins Modified feature at BCS

VINTON, Iowa (June 14) – J.D. Auringer continued his recent hot streak in a big way at Benton County Speedway. The Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified driver earned his third win in eight days and pocketed $1,250 Sunday night by topping a 32-car field on Iowa Donor Network/Urbana 5 Memorial Night.

A father and son duo made it family night Sunday at Benton County Speedway. Xtreme Motor Sports IMCA Modified veteran Troy Cordes earned his first win of the season on the quarter-mile, but not before his 13-year-old son, Tristan, scored his second career win in the Micro Mod division.
