Andrew “Jake” Michael Brecht, 56, of Ankeny, IA passed away September 10, 2024 at EveryStep Kavanagh House, Des Moines, IA following a courageous battle with cancer.Andy was born May 18, 1968 to Dennis and Yvonne (Schulte) Brecht in Ames, IA. He graduated from Vinton High School, received his bachelor's degree from Coe College, and completed his Master of Educational Administration from the UNI.
