Surrounded by her loving family, LaVonn “Bonnie” Lillian Webster-Westcott, 84, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Virginia Gay Hospital, Vinton. Edmund “Ed” Leroy Bauer, 75, of Walker, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Church, located at 1115 Water Street in Center Point, Iowa. Michael Ross Hite was born on December 3rd, 1945, to Harold and Eileen Hite, at Mercy Hospital. Mike was the fourth of seven children who grew up in Vinton, Iowa. After graduating Vinton High school, Mike was drafted in the U.S. Army and went to the Vietnam War where he was an E5 Sargent. After serving, he came home went back to his job of tuckpointing. Ivan was a jack of all trades, working in different careers throughout his life. He liked to watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
