Zelda Mae (Howe) Andresen, 94, formerly of Atkins, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Keystone Nursing Care Center.A private funeral service will be held at the Keystone Cemetery.Zelda was born April 9, 1926 on the family farm near Dysart, to Everett and Alma (Stahr) Howe. Leona Helen Waters, 89, of Shellsburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 23, 2020. Per Leona's request, she is to be cremated and placed with her husband, Edgar Waters. There will be no service at this time due to COVID-19. A Celebration of Life at a later date in the spring of 2021. Burial will take place at Mount Clark Cemetery, Central City, in the spring of 2021.

George L. Eckhart, 92, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids.George will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date at the First Christian Church in Vinton.George was born May 4, 1928, in La Porte City, Iowa, the son of Morris and Delia Lacross Eckhart. Ruth Ann Richardson, 96, died peacefully at the Vinton Lutheran Home Saturday, November 21, 2020.Ruth was born on December 30, 1923 in Vinton, Iowa, the eldest child of Ashley and Elsie Richardson. She grew up in Vinton and graduated from Vinton High School. She graduated from Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) in 1946 with a bachelors’ degree in English.
