Lorna Anna Johanna (Lorenz) Rieck, 93, of Luzerne passed away peacefully at the Vinton Lutheran Home on February 17, 2021 after a brief illness. A celebration of Lorna’s life will be held at a later date. Lorna was born May 10, 1927 in Williamsburg, Iowa to Arnold & Emma (Huedepohl) Lorenz. in the comfort of his home after a long courageous battle with
multiple myeloma.
He
was born November 20, 1946 in Cedar Falls, Iowa to Julia (Spickler)
and Ernest Fossum. He graduated from Iowa State Teachers College High

Easton Richard Lindeman, at the age of 3, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital following a year-long battle with cancer. Betty Ann (Fahnle) McKechnie, 91, of Atkins, IA passed away peacefully in Cedar Rapids, IA on February 6, 2021. She endured Parkinson’s for years with grace and never a complaint. Merle Francis Roths, 97, passed away peacefully Monday, February 8, 2021, at the Vinton Lutheran Home.Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton at a later date.Merle was born January 8, 1924, in rural Ionia, Iowa, the son of Alfred M. and Caroline E. Arnhalt Roths. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith in Ionia. He graduated from New Hampton High School in 1942.
