Nathan "Nate" Lankow, 46, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at his home in Blairstown.Nate was born on Aug. 9, 1974, in Newhall, Iowa, to Henry and Bonnie (Martinson) Lankow. He graduated from Benton Community High School in 1993. He was united in marriageto Amy Burch at Lake McBride in Solon, Iowa, in 2008.Nate was a loving husband and father, and a very caring friend. Karen Joanne Bartachek, 84, of Maquoketa, IA passed away June 13, 2021 at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa.Karen was the daughter of Louis and Helen (Formanek) Bartachek born on April 2, 1937 in Belle Plaine. IA. Karen graduated from Belle Plaine High School and Iowa State Teachers College with a BA in Instrumental Music.
