The Red Cedar Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is offering a FREE “Introduction to Shotguns” this coming Saturday, August 17th. We will cover basic firearms safety, the different types of shotguns and their uses, shotgun cartridges — how they work and their different purposes of each and proper storage of firearms.

Season championship Super Sunday up next at Benton County Speedway

The regular season will come to a close with season championships this Sunday, August 18 at Benton County Speedway.   The IMCA weekly racing finale will include a special appearance by the PRO Late Model Tour for a Super Sunday event at The Bullring.

Murty tops Bald Tire Bash, Snyder gets first win at The Bullring

Dallon Murty was the $2,000 winner in the Bald Tire Bash Sunday night at Benton County Speedway. The event, which required a maximum tire tread depth of 1/8” in the IMCA Sunoco Stock Car division, featured a 40-lap feature that Murty dominated once he got out front.
