The 36th Annual Vinton Car Cruise is scheduled for Saturday, September 11. The map for the crusie is included in the pictures. Registration takes place on the day of the event with a cost of $10 in front of the Courthouse beginning at 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The first 400 receive a dashboard plaque, no early registrations must register on the day of the event.

The Benton County Assistance Fair, hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach at the Benton County Fairgrounds, is bringing together organizations and businesses from across the county to provide the information people need.
Preventing injuries in youth is the aim of the annual Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Camp in Benton County. This free event will feature 10 safety stations. All 3rd through 6th graders in Benton and Linn County are invited to attend Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the Benton County Fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, September 21, 2021.
