We shot a number of personal bests today. Our team score of 198 was our lowest nine hole round of the season! That establishes a goal for 2112: break 200 consistently. Last year at districts our team shot a 461. I was very pleased to see our 417 today; even though they were different golf courses, that's a considerable drop in strokes. The team is to be congratulated for those efforts.
Erin Randall and Kelsey Mahood both shot 46 on the front nine; their best in competition; Kelsey's best in four years of high school golf. It was Erin's first time to break 100 in 18 holes! Kelsey's round of 100 was her personal best also. Hannah's 107 for 18 holes was her personal best. Natalie's lowest round in competiton for the year was her 53 on the front nine. The girls putted pretty well; Kelsey was low with 29 for the 18 holes.
It was the last high school competition for seniors Kelsey Mahood and Hannah Looney; they will be missed.
