After week one of District football action, the Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings are tied at the top of the Class 3A District 5. Marion, Union and DeWitt Central also have identical 1-0 records.
Tonight, in the second week of District competition, the Vikings travel to Central Dubuque (0-1, 1-2). Undefeated Union hosts DeWitt Central (1-0, 1-2). Undefeated Marion travels to winless Anamosa. Center Point-Urbana will be looking for its first win when the Stormin Pointers travel to Maquoketa (0-1, 2-1), which will be looking to bounce back from its loss at Vinton last week.
