Dear Editor,

This attack by Israeli armed forces is long overdue. More air strikes will follow. At least one strike should be on the ungodly leadership. If one U.S. soldier is killed or injured, we must strike HARD.

Iranian leadership has repeatedly stated the goal is wiping out Israel, then the U.S., along with Europe. Iran leadership is guided by Satan and must be defeated. No one wants war, but it is now unavoidable.

With God's help, we will prevail. No one wanted this, but now it's here.

RegardsJohn Stiegelmeyer

KH June 13, 2025, 7:46 am Why is it that when the Israel, or its client state the US, bombs a place, its called a preemptive strike; but when any other nation does the same it is an invasion and a violation of international law and order? I thought Donald Trump was to be the great peacemaker? That there would be no new wars under his administration and that the United States would bring the soldiers home and cease its involvement in the middle east? Yet all I've ever hear from the right wing is cheers for genocide in Gaza and calls for the invasion and destruction of Iran and our "enemies?"

"No one wants war?" Please, just be honest. Yes you do. Its all I've ever heard from you and people like you for the last 25 years.
GS June 13, 2025, 12:01 pm God forbid Israel insist on the return of their hostages…just roll over and take it…even worse let’s NOT stop Iran from completing their nukes…
GB June 13, 2025, 5:08 pm Genocide in Gaza? I'd hardly call it that. HAMAS started this on October 7th when they crossed into Israel and committed horrendous violence in innocent civilians.
Isreal has every right to protect itself. They also have every right to strike Iran. No one can afford for Iran to get nuclear weapons. Everyone knows they would use them against Isreal, Europe and against the Untied States. They have made that declaration many times.
KH June 13, 2025, 8:23 pm At what point in this genocide has Israel "rolled over and taken it?" Was it when they bombed the UNRWA convoy? Or when they shut off water to Gaza? Maybe when they used white phosphorus on civilians? The staggering amount of dead children, and the weak justification of "Hamas using human shields" would suggest the IDF believe the Palestinian youth to be made out of f****** Kevlar. Taking it, Israel is not. Dishing it out, yes. In the single greatest atrocity of our times, they are. Because Israel as a nation state is a bully, and will remain so until reigned in. I'm not holding my breath for that.

And as for Iran pursuing a nuclear weapon? Screw it, they ought to be gifted one.

Think about this from their perspective, for like ONE nanosecond.

Their position DEMANDS nuclear capability. The only thing nuclear weapons are good for, and the list is very short, is deterrence. Would the United States have dared invaded Iraq or anywhere else for that matter, had those nations possessed nuclear weapons? Wouldn't dare.

Take North Korea. Every couple years the propaganda machine turns out stories of the atrocities and evils carried out there. Why hasn't the US or the UN intervened?

Because North Korea has nukes. And a nuke is one hell of a deterrent. They are the one thing that guarantees independence from Western imperialism. And nation states have a right to self-determination, right?

And even so, Iran has tried to play by the rules. One of the few undeniable, absolutely good pieces of policy that came out of the Obama administration was the Iran nuclear deal. They reduce their enriched uranium stockpile, the US lifts sanctions. Win-win. Iran held up their end of the deal.

Then America elected Big Fat Stupid as president. In 2018 unilaterally canceled the deal. He then followed that up by "preemptively" assassinating Kasem Suleimani with a freaking predator drone in 2020. If General Randy George was "preemptively" wiped out by a missile in, let's say... Toronto, the United States would rain unholy hellfire down on the perpetrator. But Iran is supposed to "roll over and take it," right?

They will never be safe from US state intervention without a nuclear weapon, and they know it. Why would anyone trust any piece of policy, any treaty, any agreement with the United States ever again when the simple calculus is that in four years there's a high probability that any progress made can be obliterated by the next executive.

I am not an Iranian apologist. They have their own list of human rights abuses. I won't get into that here, mostly because I'm not a liberal and I don't do that "both sides" mealy-mouthed nonsense. But when considered from the position of the Iranian ruling class, becoming a nuclear power doesn't just make sense, it is imperative.

Israel is testing the limits of how far they can go. When support to commit these atrocities will dry up. So far, it doesn't look like that will be any time soon. And meanwhile the United States Executive is aiding and abetting these horrors. Supporting these actions in thought, word and deed places you on the wrong side of history.
JS June 13, 2025, 9:26 pm Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon because they don't think like we do. They want a nuclear bomb because they want to wash the world in blood. Contrast that with the doctrine of mutually assured destruction that has kept peace between nuclear superpowers for over a half century. The Russians don't want to die. The Chinese Communist Party doesn't even want to die. Even North Korea, as crazy as Kim Jung Un is, he doesn't wanna lose power and his life. But Iran, they're not afraid of death because they believe all those virgins (72 of them) will be coming their way in paradise if they martyr themselves for the cause of Allah/Islam and kill the infidels (Israel and us!). They see martyrdom as a promotion. They don't want to win a war, they want to usher in the end of times. Please understand that Israel, unfortunately had to strike first because they knew that it needed to be done for their survival. By the way, there is a known 8,000 terrorists with the intentions to do so in America right now, thanks to the last administration. Actions have consequences. Pray for the world because things are getting very real right now. It's time to know what you really need to stand for. Don't listen to the media, study for yourself, your future will certainly depend on it and make yourself right with the only answer to this manmade mess... His name is Jesus!

They want to ignite the good old end of days. So ask yourself, what happens when those beliefs collide with the power of a nuclear warhead? And by the way, you should answer this now because we're gonna have to answer this when France topples to the same kind of radicals. And when England topples to the same kind of radicals, do we go in and get their weapons? Because you do not want these regimes with nuclear weapons. Now, with all that said, I don't want my son going off to war. I don't want America again to play the policeman or be dragged into another theater of blood and sand. Enough is enough. It doesn't work. But I also do not want to be the father who has to tell his children.

Yeah, we saw it coming. You know, I knew what they believed. We saw what they were building, but we didn't do anything. You know, because, well, I mean, who are we to say when the only country most affected by this did something last night? Surgically. They are the T, they're the tip of the spear. They're the ones that are gonna get speared first. Vaporized first. And they're the ones that are like, You know what? I don't care what the rest of you guys say, I'm taking care of this. And they did something surgical. Holy cow, I've never seen anything like it. War is changing.

I have to tell you what, Israel did matters. Now, I got on the social media spheres last night, and I just gave a few opinions and none of them were blood thirsty by any. But boy, I gotta tell you, I am a warmonger and a Jew lover. I found out from a lot of people, I've listened to you for years, and I've always known you were a Jew lover. Holy cow, you haven't listened to me for years then, okay? Or you've just been closeted in your hatred.

But what Israel did matters because they didn't wait for the mushroom cloud. They struck not to conquer, but to prevent. Tell me the last time, our country even that you can say, I used to say this all the time. Look, we have never been in it for land or oil or anything else. And I don't know if I believe that anymore. We've done a lot of really bad things, okay? A lot of really bad things every country does. But are you telling me that our government, we haven't done a war or two here recently, where we haven't had greedy eyes on the wealth of another nation. Where's the greedy eyes on Israel? What did they do? They killed their top scientist and they killed the leaders of their military, and then they took out the installation that was making the bomb.
GB June 14, 2025, 9:02 pm One would have to be an idiot to think Iran should possess a nuclear weapon. That's a simple fact. Hamas a proxy of Iran, attacked Isreal on October 7th. They committed horrendous atrocities against innocent civilians including putting babies in ovens and burning them alive. There is a special place in Hell for those actors. I would gladly send them to that place myself. Shame on any POS who supports Hamas or Iran for funding that behavior.
js June 15, 2025, 6:44 pm K. H. needs a history lesson. A lie told often enough is true. In the 30's Jews had no country, no army. 6,000,ooo were murdered. No longer. Israel is now a country of warriors. God speed.
GB June 15, 2025, 9:22 pm Absolutely John. Iran with the radical leadership they have, can never be allowed to get a nuclear weapon. They absolutely would use it. Their Iatola publicly stated the only thing he wanted on his gravestone was a reference to a man dedicated his whole life to the destruction of Israel. That alone is enough to justify a preemptive strike.
Iran has done nothing to bring peace to the Middle East. They have been a sponsor of terrorism for decades, financing their proxy regimes. Israel needs to finish the job and end Iran's ability to finance Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis.
