Letter to the Editor: Thank You

To all of my supporters and readers for the truth, after months of over-the-top, snarky, insulting, and rude comments from MAGA and Trump supporters, I have decided to stop the publication of the Trump Report on Vinton Today.Thank you all for the support either by commenting to offset the negative comments or have contacted me elsewhere. I know there are people who may be not have time to delve into what is currently going on in our country who appreciate my weekly rundown.There is another option that is free from all the hyperbolic comments. CC June 11, 2025, 10:26 am I hope you find your truth Rosemary. This is an opinion column. Just because we see the Truth and it doesn't align with your opinions, you received snarky and maybe rude comments back, is you were trying to force your opinion down our throats as if it were the gospel. Thank The Lord that he made us all unique with brains, hearts and free will to think and feel freely. I will not miss your Trump report. But as John always comments, I look forward to your opinions in the future to offer solutions to contribute on Making America Great Again!

GB June 11, 2025, 5:08 pm With all the welcome comments from folks, I am thankful to read a different point of view from the propaganda Rosemary posts. I welcome the peace and quiet away from the hate filled comments for anyone who has a different opinion or for anyone who dares to disagree with her. I found the mocking of John's military record to be disgusting and filled with hate for our Veterans if only because they supported anyone other than Biden/ Harris. RS still owes John an apology. For now, her announcement to end her weekly "Trump" will be accepted for what it is. It is a resounding admission of defeat, after a community stood up to a Left Wing Socialist bully with an over inflated opinion of herself who tried to project on the rest of us.

DL June 12, 2025, 3:45 pm For those that comment negatively about the Trump Report. Everything printed in those reports, had either factual information to back up the facts, or printed opinions to back up the opinions expressed.

Those of you using the "Marxist" or "Socialist" terms... Look up the meanings of those terms one last time, and remember them this time.

JES June 13, 2025, 1:05 am Just sounds like you can't handle the negativity, so you showed your true colors. Well not totally showed them. Guess you need thicker skin and don't worry what people think. But again, I don't see your point of view on life in general. Hopefully now you can spend time with your family and cats.
