TAMA – Ted Eugene Meader, 29, died Monday, February 18, 2013, at his home in Tama. His body has been cremated and private family services will be held at a later date.
Ted was born October 30, 1983, in Creston, Iowa, the son of Ronnie Dee and Barbara Jean Brobst Thompson.
He married Karamia McGachey in May of 2012.
Ted is survived by his wife, Karamia Meader, of Gladbrook; his parents, Ronnie and Barbara Thompson, of Elberon; one daughter, Halo Meader of Gladbrook; one son, Alrikxander Demian; four brothers: Robin Thompson of Elberon; Harry (Dawn) Meader of Mt. Vernon; Tony Thompson of Florida; and Nick Meader of Minnesota; two sisters: Ronnette (Doug) Parks of Belgrade, MO; and Amanda Thompson of North English.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A memorial fund has been established.
