Vinton—Frank William Ohlsen, 68, died Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Judith Bunyi officiating. Everett Walton, 90, died Sunday, August 23, 2015 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness.
Private Services and Committal will be held.
Everett was born October 17, 1924 near Buffalo Center.
On July 6, 1946 he married Arlene Techau at Springville.

SHELLSBURG – Mark Alan Harrison, 52, died Thursday, August 13, 2015, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha following a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born to Jerry and Madelyn (Belknap) Duncklee on September 9, 1958 and raised in Vinton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2015 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Vinton with Fr. David Ambrosy as celebrant. Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, August 9 at Van Steenhuyse-Russell Funeral Home in Vinton and for one hour before Mass at the church on Monday.
