Donna Leila Stevens, 59, of Dysart, formerly of Garrison, Iowa, died peacefully in her sleep at 12:25 p.m. January 22, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born on November 5, 1959 in Vinton, Iowa, to Glenn and Virginia (King) Halstead.

Julie D. Davis, 64 years old, of Vinton, Iowa, formerly of Independence, passed away peacefully January 19, 2019 after a battle with cancer. Julie was born April 8, 1954, in Independence, the daughter of Leonard Joseph & Lucille May (Jones) Dlouhy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Jan 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to noon at Palo Community Center, with a benefit from 2 to 9 p.m.

Doug was born June 11, 1942, to Kenneth and Ethel Nelson in Edgewood, Iowa. He graduated from Marion High School in 1960.
