News : VS seniors receive more than $74,000 in scholarships

Vinton-Shellsburg High School held its 2013 Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, May 8, in the V-S HS Auditorium. Once again, many businesses, civic organizations and individuals of our school district were extremely generous in supporting our students in their pursuit of higher education. Over $74,000 of local money was awarded to 42 members of the Class of 2013!

In addition, numerous awards were presented honoring the academic, athletic and fine arts achievements of our students, as well as their dedication to community service.

Congratulations to the Class of 2013 and thank you to the communities of the Vinton-Shellsburg school district for your recognition and support of our graduates!
