Duane and Marilyn Johnson are pleased to announce the sale of Johnson Auction Sales & Real Estate to Alan and Cindy Michael.

"We feel that this new venture will be a 'win-win' for everyone," said Duane Johnson. "We've been a mainstay in the local real estate market for over 30 years, and the opportunity to see it continue to grow and thrive was the driving force behind our decision. Marilyn and I will continue to be part of the business in the area of sales and marketing of real estate (including the auction service), but the day-to-day operations will be handed over to Alan and Cindy after the first of the year."

"Cindy and I are thrilled to have the opportunity to come on board with a successful company such as Johnson Auction Sales & Real Estate," said Alan Michael. "The name, location and high standard of client service will continue as it's always been at Johnson Auction Sales & Real Estate; the only difference will be that it will now be under the management of Cindy and I."

The sale of Johnson Auction Sales & Real Estate, located at 415 First Avenue, represents a "passing of the torch," so to speak, but Duane and Marilyn Johnson, along with Alan and Cindy Michael (and the entire staff) are excited about this new chapter, and look forward to continuing to offer their clients, community and the surrounding area the same quality of professionalism and commitment that people have come to know and respect.
