News : Vinton Kiwanis Present Check to Backpack Program

The Kiwanis Club of Vinton presented a $1000 check to the Vinton Shellsburg School District Backpack Program.

The Backpack Program provides nutritious weekend meals to students in need in the school district.

The money was raised from the Boomtown 5K race in August.   A special thank you to all the runners and area business sponsors who supported this important project.
