The Vikings Football Team lead the Homecoming Parade on Thursday night.
Thursday evening brought the Vinton Shellsburg Parade to the enjoyment of residents and especially the children.
]The Vinton-Shellsburg high school football team, lead the parade followed by the smallest football teams in the district. Also in the parade were the classes of 1986 and the class of 2031.
The parade kicked off with the help of the Vinton Police Department and the Shellsburg Legion members carrying the American flag. The Grand Marshals for the parade were Paul and Karilea Ries.
Several area businesses also joined in the fun!
