Thursday was a unique day at school for the first graders in Emily McLaughlin's classroom as well as the 4th graders in Mrs. Sturtz's room. 

Both classes earned special days for doing well in class. The first grade students had a pajama and stuffed animal day.

The fourth graders celebrated "injury day," coming to school with crutches and a variety of other pretend injuries. They also wrote short essays on how their injuries occurred.
