Vinton Today here for you...and for the big guys
Last month we passed our 4th anniversary at Vinton Today.
Over the last 4 years we've watched in amazement as we went from nothing to operating a website with traffic that boasts over 9 MILLION visits. Now that's pretty impressive if I say so myself.
All of our news is local, we don't troll the TV stations for something to fill the page.
VU's Destination Vinton to host first bus tour in Vinton May 6th
Vinton Unlimited's Destination Vinton Committee has some exciting news...the buses are coming to town!
That's right...our Destination Vinton committee has been working very hard over the past couple of years to begin marketing all of the great things we have to offer visitors to our community. After countless hours of work, phone calls, emails, and promotion, we're excited to bring the first bus tour of 2014 to town on Tuesday, May 6th!
They will be arriving in town around 9:30 am and begin their day at the Iowa Braille & Sight Saving School.

Benton County Fair seeks candidates for 2014 Queen
The Benton County Fair is looking for young women who are interested in serving as a representative of the fair by becoming the Benton County Fair Queen. As a representative for the Benton County Fair, the queen will be asked to assist with various contests and activities during the county fair in July as well as helping with other promotional activities.
