In it's 101st year, Bethlehem Lutheran Church continues to present monthly gifts to deserving community organizations. On April 27, 2014, the church presented the fourth gift of 2014 to the Vinton Public Library. The library was dedicated on July 4, 1904.As technology has changed in the last several decades, our library has not just idly sat back , but has embraced these changing times with open arms. The library offers Learning Express, which includes and adult learning center, computer skills center, and student center. One can download audio and E-Books. The library offers a huge selection of periodicals and journal articles. There is also a story time held every Wednesday morning....and comfortable chairs if you want to read a good book and relax with no interruptions ...Everyone is Welcome! The gift of $101 was presented to Mr. Eric Upmeyer, Vice-President of the Vinton Library Board of Trustees.
