Two area men receive Quilts of Valor

On Sunday afternoon, two area men received a Quilt of Valor thanking them for their service to our country. In a moving service presented at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home several area veterans filled the room along with their families for the ceremony.

150 women honored in Vinton's Celebration

A reception was held to honor the 150 women chosen to represent Vinton during our Sesquicentennial celebration this week. With the option to bring a guest, the Ray House was filled with ladies in attendance for the reception.

Mural Wrap up Celebration raises $7,100

The artists from the Walldogs project, who designed & painted our latest murals were in attendance as the auction piece miniatures of the murals downtown were awarded to the highest bidder.

2019 Sesquicentennial Art Contest Winners Announced
