The annual Breakfast with Santa was held on Saturday with area families. The highlight wasn't the pancakes necessarily, although they were tasty, but the big event was the arrival of Santa.

Seed House disrepair puts building at risk

At Thursday's City Council meeting, the council conducted a hearing for a nuisance violation at 201 1st Avenue, known as the former Seed House. The property is owned by Joseph and Peggy Schott of Hiawatha.
