Windsor Manor Assisted Living Community will be holding their 3rd Annual Contest for the most creative flower pot that showcases area businesses or service organizations.

The American Legion of Vinton will host a fish fry on Friday, May 14th serving from 4:00-7:00 P.M. The Legion is located at 105 N. R Ave. in Vinton.

On Sunday May 16th, the Mt. Auburn Legion Auxilary will hold a brunch from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Auburn Legion Hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend! Adults eat for $7 each, chidlren 10 and under are $5, and preschool children eat free.

The Benton County Master Gardeners, will be holding their annual plant sale in a little more than a week.  The sale will be held at the Benton County Fairgrounds in the Open Show building.
