  A National Rifle Association Pistol Safety Course will be conducted April 16th at the Izaak Walton League north of Vinton.   It will be conducted by Russ Glime who has been an instructor for law enforcement and the public for over 37 years.

     Dorothy Sallee, born Dorothy Wiegand, from Mt. Auburn, was the youngest of the ten women, age 79 when interviewed.  She had interesting stories to tell about her first husband (Pollock) working on the railroad, and the hardships they and the children endured.
