The Keystone All School Reunion committee met to formulate plans for a Keystone All School Reunion Picnic, which will be held next year, 2016 on Saturday, August 6th. Committee members include Mrs. Darrell (Rita Selk) Pickering, chairwoman, Mrs. Bill (Barb Buch) Hennings, Mrs. Dorla Hilmer, Mrs. Larry (Sandy Pickering) Points, Mrs. Terry (Judi Sindt) Hertle, and Joyce Langlas. The Keystone All School Reunion is held every five years.

Venue for the occasion will be Keystone’s Turner Hall. Reunion theme will be a picnic, reminiscent of the long remembered annual last day of school potluckpicnic, which included students of grades kindergarten through high school seniors, parents and faculty of Keystone Consolidated School. Keystone became part of Benton Community School District in the mid 1960’s, and saw the closing and demise of the original Keystone elementary and high school buildings.

The picnic will be catered and feature traditional picnic cuisine. Invitees include all graduates of Keystone High School and their spouses, guests, and faculty, with a nod to casual attire. Discussion was held regarding a high school memorial, with a possible site being the Centennial area of the town park.Invitation will be sent early in 2016 with details, including menu items, cost, time and other pertinent facts.
