Dear Editor:
A.I. once online will take vast amounts of electric power. China is now producing twice our electric output. They are in good shape to take the power needs of A.I. We need to be building electric power plants, including modular nuclear plants NOW. We are far behind and years behind - this will take years to accomplish. An example - more transformers are needed right now. U.S. does make them, China does - two years to manufacture. A.I. is coming and nothing will stop it. Many sources have sounded the alarm, it's time to take action.
It has been reported that California's Democratic legislature has passed a law restricting water use by farmers to favor salmon in a nearby river. Yee Gads. Fish over carrots, makes sense, right? As California goes, so goes the Nation? Hmmm, California has an exodus of it citizens. They find harbor in other states, but unfortunately, they bring some of the stupid liberal ideas with them. Don’t fall for it.
Note to the naysayers: If there is a felony conviction – why is there no jail time? False is False, no matter how you phrase it. All Democrat Prosecutors, all Democrat Judges –something fishy here? You bet.
Blessings, God Help us!

The following is a section of a PBS article dated January 10, 2025;
President-elect Donald Trump was sentenced today in New York City months after a New York jury found him guilty of 34 felony counts, falsifying business documents to cover up an extramarital affair.
But Judge Juan Merchan granted the president-elect what's called an unconditional discharge, a sentence that affirms he is a convicted felon, but faces no further penalties, fines or any time in jail.
Our William Brangham was in court in New York this morning and joins us now.
So, William, tell us a little bit more about this unconditional discharge. How did Judge Juan Merchan explain his rationale for what some are calling a lenient, lenient sentence?
It's not clear how anyone can say that Trump has no felony convictions. Criminal charges, brought by the DOJ, in a Federal Court Room, are not tried as Civil cases. A really simple search, will turn up dozens of articles about these charges.
As I've said before, the DOJ isn't allowed to make any decisions, within 90 days of an election. The sentence was originally set to be read on October 15, 2024. Because that was less than 30 days from the election, the court moved the sentencing to January 10, 2025. Because the guilty party was president-elect, at the time of sentencing, no jail time, fines or probation was given. This is called an Unconditional Discharge of Charges. The convictions stand, but no penalty was given.
BTW you are mistaken. The property valuations were from New York not Mar a Lago. That is where he valued his residence at Trump Tower 3 times it's size to increase his net worth for loans.
Mar a Lago is the place where the stolen classified papers from the White House were stored in an unsecured bathroom and a ballroom where anyone could access them. You did not bring up the E. J. Carroll case where you can't split hairs. He was found liable for over 83 million to compensate her for his slander and lies.
No matter how much you complain Trump is a crooked businessman and President. You know the saying no matter how much lipstick you put on a pig, it is still a pig. That's Trump.

The judge had no knowledge as to property values, would not allow testimony of appraiser...
Another deal was the violation of a non-disclosure agreement. All of the trumped up charges (lawfare), overturned. Odd New York law change on property
No other state has that unethical law. Trump won election big time, give it up.

Apropos of nothing, I wish we'd put more effort into creating real intelligence.
The 2nd & 3rd case that Trump was found liable for was the E. Jean Carroll case that you refuse to acknowledge. Trump lost the first case and was assessed $5 million in damages for slandering Ms. Carroll over her allegations that he sexually abused her. After the verdict Trump in his ignorance again slandered her and called her a liar. (I saw that on TV) She brought another case against him and won that civil case at the tune of $83 million and is closer to collecting on that because his appeals have been denied.
Two cases have been on hold but not adjudicated against Trump could lead to felony charges and or prison if they are ever allowed to go forward. One was the Georgia election interference case and the other is the stealing of classified documents placed in a bathroom and elsewhere at Mar a Lago.
Ironically, Republicans and Maga said that was not a big deal but have now changed their tune and are aghast that John Bolton is alleged to have classified documents in his possession. Talk about hyprocrisy.
Can we please put this to rest? Civil cases rarely if ever carry prison time and whether you like it or not, Trump has been found guilty of these cases and is on the hook for over 1/2 billion to the State of New York and over $83 million to E.Jean Carroll. Why can't you look this stuff up yourself, like everyone on the right says we all should do, to corroborate this stuff and stop over and over making the same argument that it is not true? I really wonder what world you are living in when you refuse to accept the truth. I have given you plenty of ways to corra0borate the cases but you either do not read them or think that if you say they don't exist over and over that will make them disappear.
