Gary Dean Dvorak, 69, of Belle Plaine, IA passed away May 18, 2026 at his home.  

Gary was born June 4, 1956 to Charles Jr. and Mayme (Blaha) Dvorak in Belle Plaine. Gary worked at Froning’s Feed Store while attending Belle Plaine High School. He graduated with the class of 1974. Following school Gary worked for several famers in the area and Sheetz Construction in Montezuma. He enjoyed gardening and fishing.  

Gary is survived by his siblings, Charlene (Charles) Posekany, Beverly Douglas, Connie (Craig) Hall all of Brooklyn, Vickie Dvorak of Grinnell, Beckie (Jim) Clementi of Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews.

He   is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Loras Dvorak.

Family burial will take place at National Cemetery, Vining, IA.
