Twyla Ann Gardemann, 65, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, at her residence in Vinton.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Zion Lutheran Church (209 Grand Ave SW, Shellsburg, IA 52332) with Pastor Zachary Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Shellsburg.

Twyla was born on August 19, 1960, in St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, to Louis “Louie” and Juanita (Patterson) Gardemann. She loved to take long walks and go on adventures with her home staff. She loved country music and Elvis Presley. She also loved eating popcorn.

Twyla is survived by her mother, Juanita Gardemann, and her brother, Tim Gardemann.

Twyla was preceded in death by her father, Louie Gardemann; and her grandparents, Irve and Opal Gardemann, and Lyle and Arlene Patterson.
