Obituaries : Gloria Louise (Bray) Tomberlin

Gloria Louise (Bray) Tomberlin, 64, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Heritage Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids following a brief illness.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Gloria was born January 10, 1962, to Jimmy “Rex” and Faye (Wittie) Bray. Gloria loved her family and spending time with her many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Gloria is survived by her son, Matthew Bray; her mother, Faye L. (Bray) Jedlicka; her sisters, Claudette (Donald) Wheeler, and Patty (Jeff) Bray; her brother, Donald (Tami) Bray; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by a daughter, Heather Marie Bray; her father, Jimmy “Rex” Bray; her step-father, Leo Jedlicka; her brother, Terry Bray; and her grandparents, Frank and Bernices Wittie, and Haron and Aba-bell Bray.
