Obituaries : David W. Allers

David W. Allers, 85, passed away January 30, 2026 at Harmony Cedar Rapids.

                David was born December 19, 1940 to Robert and Mary (Sedgewick) Allers in Belle Plaine, Iowa and raised as a farmer, David loved farming and farm equipment. He graduated from Belle Plaine High School. David proudly served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a dump truck driver for about 10 years and loved it. He also was a production line worker for General Mills. He also loved riding motorcycles and scooters. David loved his family.

                David is survived by his children, David Lee (Jennifer) Allers and Tioma Renee Allers; his grandchildren, Kayla Allers, Kiyah Allers, Thomas Allers, Noah Allers, Aliyah Allers, and Hannah Allers; and his great-grandchildren, Kiliyah Lemke, David Lemke, Benlee Randall, Paris Lemke, and Caysen Allers.

                David is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary; his brother, Charles Allers; and his grandson, Keyshawn Allers.
