America is getting ready to celebrate its 250th birthday! Those 250 years are full of amazing people and stories. On April 20, at 6:30 pm at the Vinton Depot, storyteller Darrin Crow will   take listeners on an exciting journey through some of those stories.
Explore the American Revolution through the stories of ordinary people faced with extraordinary choices that   changed their lives and the fate of their country. It includes stories of John Paul Jones, the Blacksmith of Brandywine, and Molly Pitcher.
Darrin Crow started telling stories behind the bar of the Quiet Place Saloon in Ushers Ferry Historic Village at sixteen years old and hasn’t stopped for more than thirty years. Darrin's boundless energy and love for stories allow him to connect audiences to worlds of magic and wonder in traditional tales, original narratives, and vibrant historical stories. He tells powerful stories that keep audiences on the edge of their seats and stick with them long after the tale ends.
