Sports : Former Vikette Shelby Beyer places in three events for UNI

Shelby placed in the 200M dash as a UNI freshman.

UNI freshman and 2011 VS graduate Shelby Beyer enjoyed success throughout her freshman year on the UNI track team.

Shelby's mom, Dawn, reports that Shelby's last track meet was at the Messersmith Invitational at UNI last Friday. Her 4x100 relay team came in 3rd, she came in 7th in the 100m and 9th in the 200m.

"Her freshman year went great and flew by so fast!" said Dawn.
