The Vinton-Shellsburg High School wrestling program (this year aided by the Little Vikings AAU wrestlers) held its second annual labor auction on Thursday, Oct. 27.
Duane Johnson called the auction as the wrestlers and coaches took their turn on the auction block.
The event raised funds to cover the cost of wrestling camp as well as reconditioning one of the mats. Approximately $7,000 was raised.
Coaches this year are Steve Johnson, Jon-Mikel Elwick, Joel Neve and Martin Halstead.
