Sports : Vinton Aquatic Club Thanks Community

On behalf of Vinton Aquatic Club, I would like to thank those of our friends, family, and neighbors, our community, that came out to join us at Pizza Ranch on the evening of October 7th. Through your support, we were able to raise $764 for our team.
The funds raised are used for such purposes as pool rental for practices, equipment purchases, meet entry fees for our swimmers, and coaches’ pay. Without funds, our swim team could not exist.
Just as important as the money raised is the sense of purpose and teamwork that events like this give our young people. Our swimmers, some as young as 4, were there at your service. And, for the most part, they enjoyed it, as we hope you enjoyed them. Through their own hard work, they were able to make a difference for their team, for their sport. Thank you all for allowing them that opportunity. Thank you all for your contributions to the cause.
