The V-S team members were happy to walk away with a win and lower scores tonight. We were only four strokes off of having varsity have four in the forties. Low in putting were Olivia Walker and Rachel Tandy both with 17. We will continue to work to improve putting; new courses mean different greens and we have to learn to adjust. I was pleased to see the girls break 200 as a team. Abbe Wilson played her first meet on varsity and shot well; Alex Maynard played her second varsity meet and had a score we counted. These girls have continued to work at improving their game and their efforts are paying off.
We have some JV players who are showing a lot of promise so that is encouraging.
We have a meet at Independence tomorrow and Benton tourney at Tara Hills on Saturday.
