On Sunday, the top bowlers in our District competed in a tournament as individuals in Forest City. The tournament is comprised of the top 2 bowlers of each team and 6 at-large bids based on seasonal average. There are a total of 24 boys and 24 girls competing in the tournament. The VS Bowling Team is fortunate to have some of the highest averages and we as a team competed with 4 boys and 5 girls.

The boys included: Cole Garwood, Nick Stein, Jordan Schoettmer (at large) and Ben Wood (at Large)

VS girls bowling included Alyssa Bunge, Taylor Berr, Erin Wood (at large), Sierra Goodell (at large) and Isabel Dedrick (at large)

The results were as follows. I am very proud to say we have some fierce competitors on our team and going head-to-head is not an easy task. These kids did their best and even though many did not perform as well as they may have wanted, their true character showed through in how they handled the loss.

As in every meet, I am proud of my team and excited to see what the future holds for each of them.
