Nick Hyland continued his undefeated season, leading VS wrestlers at the Benton Invite.
Nick Hyland continued his unbeaten wrestling season, winning the Benton Community Bobcat Jerry Eckenrod Invitational's 145-pound title on Saturday. Hyland was one of several Vikings to place in the tournament. The Vikes finished 6th in team scoring with 112 points in the 16-team contest.
Hyland is currently ranked 7th in the state, at 138 pounds. He normally wrestles at 145 but switched to 138 for the Iowa Falls meet.
