An early three-pointer by senior Jordon Womochil gave the Vikings the lead for good against Dunkerton in a non-conference basketball game Tuesday in Vinton. Then after building a 25-10 lead, the Vikes outscored the raiders 20-5 in the last five minutes of the first half. Leading by 30 at the break, the Vikings continued to dominate and won 85-34.

Five Vikings scored in double digits: Junior Cole Smith scored 13 and Austin Bohnsack added 15, including nine free throws. The three seniors who share the same first name combined for 34 points: Tyler Stueck, 11; Tyler Bartz, 12; Tyler Rippel, 11.

The Vikings have now won six in a row after losing the first two games of the season. After the break, they resume play at Oelwein on Jan. 4.
