The Vikings went to play in Marion at the Gardner Golf Course Monday for the WaMac Super Meet. The conditions were very tough throughout the meet with gusty winds, wet playing conditions, and on the chilly side as well. The Vikings battled and really stayed focused as they finished in second place. It was a total team effort as they were tied with Williamsburg and Mount Vernon all carding 325 with the top 4 scores. The tiebreaker is looking at the 5th score, which put Williamsburg and the Vikings ahead of Mount Vernon. The Vikings and Williamsburg were still tied after the 5th score so the tiebreaker moves to the 6th score where the Vikings turned in the lowest score and took 2nd place.

West Delaware won the meet shooting 314. Other places were: 2nd Vinton-Shellsburg 325, 3rd Williamsburg 325, 4th Mount Vernon 325, 5th Central Dewitt 333, 6th Marion 351, 7th Independence 354, 8th Anamosa 356, 9th Solon 364, 10th Clear Creek-Amana 365, 11th Benton 368, 12th Beckman 379, 13th Center Point-Urbana 389, 14th South Tama 393, 15th Maquoketa 412.
