Our varsity players accomplished 4 in the 40s for the first time this season! And they weren’t satisfied with their scores; we are looking to continue to improve, especially in putting. Kaiti Kilpatrick had the hot putter with 15 total putts; Alex Maynard had 18. Freshman Rachel Tandy competed at the varsity level for the first time very successfully. Overall, I was very pleased with our team’s scores and the practice efforts our players are making.

Our JV also had a strong showing; each girl shot her personal best in competition and only four strokes separated these six girls’ scores!

We next play at Tara Hills Saturday at the annual Benton Invitational. On Monday we will compete in a Quad at the Amana Golf Course with Clear Creek-Amana, Williamsburg, and Marion. These are both varsity only meets. Thursday April 23 we are scheduled to play varsity and JV at Tara Hills against Benton Community.
