I’m very pleased with the varsity team shooting a 190. Our goal is to have four rounds in the 40s and we came close. Juniors Lauren Tandy, Kaiti Kilpatrick and Olivia Walker had solid rounds for us tonight. One birdie was recorded: by Ms Walker on hole #8.

We know as a team we can improve our putting; low putts tonight was Olivia Walker with 17. We also have to eliminate penalty strokes. This team has a desire to improve and many are shooting rounds outside of our scheduled practices. This will pay off.

Lindsey Miller had her first time to be a varsity counter. Freshman Rachel Tandy fired a 51 and earned JV medalist honors. South Tama did not field a JV squad. Sophomore Brittany Grendler shot her lowest score in competition.
